What makes a diamond unique?
Diamonds are the hardest natural substance on earth, ranking 10 on the Mohs hardness scale. Their exceptional durability makes them ideal for everyday wear, while their optical properties create unmatched brilliance.
Most diamonds are between one and three billion years old and form approximately 100 miles beneath the earth’s surface. Only a small percentage of mined diamonds are of sufficient quality for fine jewellery.

Cut
Cut determines how well a diamond reflects light. A well-cut diamond maximizes brilliance, fire, and scintillation. Even a smaller diamond can appear more impressive than a larger stone if it is expertly cut.
Colour
Diamond colour is graded from D (colourless) to Z (light yellow or brown). Colourless diamonds are rare and highly valued, while warmer tones can offer character and individuality.
Clarity
Clarity measures internal inclusions and surface blemishes. Most inclusions are microscopic and do not affect beauty to the naked eye.
Carat
Carat refers to weight, not size. Two diamonds of equal carat weight can appear very different depending on cut and shape.
